Purple Audiophile edition

The 1994 album Purple, which built on the band's debut Core, was a huge success for Stone Temple Pilots and marked an important development in the band's sound. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and quickly achieved multi-platinum status worldwide. Purple also showed that Stone Temple Pilots were more than just another grunge band at the height of the style; they asserted themselves as a strong element of the scene with powerful and emotionally stirring songs such as 'Interstate Love Song', 'Vasoline' and 'Big Empty'.
