Formed by English guitarist John McLaughlin, the Mahavishnu Orchestra was a pioneering jazz-rock fusion band blending jazz, rock, Eastern, R&B, and classical elements. Known for their virtuosity and dynamic range, they captivated audiences with fiery intensity and spiritual depth.
