The small seaside town of Crosby's Cove, Maine, grows quiet after the summer crowds leave but comes alive again in December for the annual Christmas by the Sea extravaganza. Locals and out of towners flock to the three-day event, partaking in dozens of the various activities that go on throughout the town. Main Street comes to life after lying dormant since the summer crowd left, many of the small shops and eateries all opening up again to cater to the visitors as well as to compete in the many "Best Of" contests that run every year.
