A Trip to Space is the debut book in The STEM Series written by 12-year-old, self-published author, Layla Haikal. As STEM captain at her school, Layla wants to encourage and inspire children to explore these subjects through stories showing role models of kids - especially girls - in STEM.

Reading science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) books is a great way for children to develop literacy skills while exposing them to STEM content. The STEM Series will spark curious minds and ignite imaginations.
