A Study of Stark Broadening of High-Z Hydrogenic Ion Lines in Dense Hot Plasmas

Abstract: Stark broadened spectral line shapes for hydrogenic ion lines are computed for several different ions, temperatures, and charge densities. The Hooper distribution functions for electric microfields are computed and tabulated for the parameters used in the line shape calculations.
